Sister Audrey Richardson is the January, 2020 Member of the Month for the Cathedral at the Crossroads Church. Sister Richardson is a proud wife, mother, grandmother, and a proud and dedicated servant of the Lord. She joined the Church in 1989, after visiting at the request of her high school classmate, Sister Laura Manning. Sister Audrey was immediately drawn to the Church by the warmth and cheefullness of the members, and she was further impressed with just how down to earth, friendly, and approachable the late Pastor James Drysdale was (the Church’s founder).
In her secular career, Sister Audrey served for almost 40 years as an educator, 20 years teaching in the St. Louis Parochial School District, at various schools, and for an additional 17 years following that, she was a pre school teacher in St. Louis County. She is presently retired. As in her secular career, spiritually, Sister Richardson has demonstrated her joy in serving, by serving in several capacities at the Cathedral, including President of the Benevolence Committee, a Church Usher, a member of the choir, and generally being available to do whatever is asked of her, with a smile!
Sister Audrey’s favorite Biblical verse is Proverbs 27:1, KJV: Boast not thyself of to morrow; for thou knowest not what a day may bring forth.
We love visitors. All are welcome!
